This plant grows similar to Anubias, as it grows along a rhizome and sends off leaves from it. They do best when tied or glued to rocks or driftwood and should not be planted in the substrate. They are extremely slow growers and take up too 2 years to fully convert in their "submerged" form. As the plant matures in your aquarium the new leaves will become more delicate and have a more intense color to them. To propagate just trim a portion of the rhizome with leaves off and place somewhere.
