About the Product

Opuntia phaeacantha, commonly known as desert prickly pear, is a hardy cactus species native to arid and semi-arid regions. This cactus is valued for its flat paddle-shaped pads and ability to tolerate cold temperatures down to -20°F once established. It prefers full sun, excellent drainage, and minimal watering, making it suitable for xeriscape gardens, rock gardens, and cold-hardy cactus collections.
