Micro Clover Easy Spread Shaker

• Micro Clover grows better in shade than grass and tolerates foot traffic and pets better than grass making it a great option for families with kids and pets.
• Micro Clover has above ground roots that will choke out weeds like dandelions over time as it fills in. Apply at higher rates for quicker effect.
• Micro Clover fixes atmospheric nitrogen into the ground, reducing the need for fertilizer once established.
• Micro Clover stays small and doesn't flower as much as Dutch White Clover so you don't have to worry about bee stings.

How to seed Micro Clover Easy Spread Shaker:

Seed in spring, late summer, or early fall. Spread over existing grass after mowing to .5" and raking to loosen soil (full instructions here). Water lightly but frequently after seeding so soil and seedlings don't dry out. Continue to mow for one year at 2-3" until flowers are fully established.

What To Expect: -- With regular watering, seeds will start to germinate in 1-2 weeks when soils are at least 50-60 degrees, plants will be small for the first couple of months. Mowing shorter at about 2-3" regularly will reduce the number of flowers produced as well as the number of pollinators visiting making it a great option for pets and kids!

Maintaining Micro Clover:

- Do not use pesticide weed or insect killers. Hand weed if necessary or desired.

- If you are seeding a new lawn or renovating a bare soil area, we recommend using a blend of fine fescue seed at 2-4 lbs/1,000 sq. ft.
