Housing: The Foundation

A chicken coop needs to protect from predators, provide adequate ventilation, stay dry, and offer roosting space. Use hardware cloth (not chicken wire) on all openings and a secure latch. Ventilation openings at the roof peak prevent respiratory disease and frostbite.

Feed: Start with Quality
